Now that Jon Bowerbank has dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor, I am asking you to join me in supporting and voting for Mike Signer June 9.
Mike Signer came to Java J's here in Bristol, VA on April 11th to push local Dems to vote for him in the upcoming primary election. One of the points he made is that "netroots are the energy of the (Democratic) party."
You can see more of his comments on New Media and netroots here:
(Thanks, Brandon. It was great to get this info since I wasn't able to attend! - promoted by Aimee Fausser)
As many of you know, there are four candidates (previously five - Rich Savage dropped out quoting financial reasons) running for the position of Lieutenant Governor. Below I will describe my thoughts on each one and how they performed at the panel Sunday morning in Charlottesville for the Virginia Young Democrats convention for 2009. For those who don't know, I'm informed but I'm certainly not the political nut like some of the people on NDP are but I will try my best to give a good quick analysis on the candidates :).
